• Pharmaceuticals: As key intermediate for producing an anti-epileptic drug intermediate (2-pyrrolidone) and Chloramphenicol, as well as other APIs.

• Chemical Synthesis: Feedstock for producing Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and Gamma-Butyrolactone (GBL), which are further used in agrochemicals, pharmaceutical solvents, and PVC stabilizers.

• Coatings & Inks: As reactive diluent or chain extender in high-performance polyurethane coatings and printing inks, improving flexibility and adhesion.
